Transferring the firmware to the device

After the firmware file has been downloaded, you need to transfer it to an internal flash drive smartphone! SDcard !!!

To do this, you need to connect the device to the PC, open root hard disk , wait until the download is complete and disconnect the device via safe shutdown! Then we check if the file is in the specified location and go to the next step.

In order to boot into Clockwork Mod Recovery mode, you need to remove the battery from your smartphone or simply turn off the device from the menu. Next, you must simultaneously press Home buttons, volume + and power button for 10 seconds. A very important point is that, depending on the software version, the menu items may slightly differ from each other, but the essence is the same.

Wipes and preparation for installation

1. Full Wipe - full cleaning;
2. Wipe data / Factory Reset - to reset the settings;
3. Wipe Cache Partition - to clear the cache;
4. Wipe Dalvik Cash - located in the Advanced menu;
5. Format Cache in the Mounts and Storage menu.

If you originally had custom CWM, then the actions will be somewhat different:
1. Find the item Wipe data / factory reset, then Clean to Install a New ROM and don't do anything else !!!

Directly firmware

In order to install MIUI on your Galaxy S3, you need to select the Install zip From sdcard item in the Recovery menu, and then scroll down to the Choose zip From sdcard item and select the firmware file you downloaded earlier.

If all the actions were performed correctly, the firmware process will begin, upon completion of which you will only have to select the "Reboot System Now" item in the menu and wait for the smartphone to load with the new operating system!

How to Install Android O Samsung Theme

Follow the below instructions to install the Android O Samsung Theme:

1. Extract the downloaded .zip file and copy the .apk file to your Samsung device.
2. Open any file manager of your choice> Navigate to the downloaded file> Simply tap on it to install it as normal APK.
3. Make sure you see a popup which says ‘Installation complete’. Only when this popup appears, we can be sure that the theme has installed successfully. If you do not see the popup upon installation, try to install the app again.
4. Go to Samsung app> Choose the installed theme> Apply!

After your phone is successfully connected to the computer, click Start, and wait till it’s completed. You've successfully installed recovery if it shows the image below, and your phone will automatically reboot. Then close the Odin flshing tools on your computer

If your phone hang at the boot animation, do the following steps:
Turn off your phone, press Volume + button + Home + the Power button at the same time to enter Recovery mode

Connect your phone with a computer, and double click / Adb / adb Download.bat

There's another way to enter the ROM flashing mode: turn off your phone, hold Volume - key + Home button + the Power button, and press the Volume + key when it asks you to choose.

Select Odin3 v1.85.exe in the ROM flashing tools

Choose Auto Reboot; F, Reset Time

Click the PDA button, and select CF-Root-SGS3-v6.3.tar in the unzipped files

Connect your phone to the computer. If the part that’s circled out turns yellow, then your phone is connected to the computer successfully. Otherwise, please reconnect the USB cable.

After your phone is successfully connected to the computer, click Start, and wait till it’s completed. You've successfully installed recovery if it shows the image below, and your phone will automatically enter the Recovery mode to flash MIUI.

After the flashing finished, your phone will automatically reboot, please be patient and wait. Please do not turn off the phone or change the battery during the process.

5. Installing MIUI ROM

Enter Settings - System - Developer option, select USB debugging

Connect your phone with a computer, and double click / Adb / adb Download.bat in the ROM-flashing tools to enter the ROM flashing mode.

There's another way to enter the ROM flashing mode: turn off your phone, hold Volume - key + Home button + the Power button, and press the Volume + key when it asks you to choose.

Select wipe data / factory reset - Yes - delete all user data / wipe cache partition - Yes-Wipe Cache(using the volume keys to choose, and the Power button to confirm)

STEP 2
Operate on the phone

Operate in the following steps:
install zip from sdcard.
choose zip from internal sdcard.
miui_miui_i9300_2.X.X_gdiqrbqkgr_4.0.zip
Yes-install miui XXXXX.
(using the volume keys to choose, and the Power button to confirm)

Then press Back key, and select reboot system now

Your phone will automatically reboot after flashing is completed
