Rated 5 out of 5 by gross783 from solid apparatus Successful model. I really liked at first the battery sat down pretty quickly, but then Apparently it swayed, I reset the settings to the factory settings and installed the programs (Yandex maps, metro, trains, whatsapp) again. The phone also has an "optimization" function (in the settings) It tidies up the memory. You can also make programs that can be sent to sleep mode so as not to waste battery power. Fotik shoots EXCELLENT and macro and video, for processing photos there are various pretty interesting gadgets. Determines my location accurately, does not get warm either during charging or during operation, I played Real Racing for testing and did not heat up. I immediately bought a silicone case and glass for the phone. The speaker is loud, Ringtones for calls and notifications are very interesting. In general, I am very satisfied ..

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Poor image quality ppi resolution The sound is very good. The bodies are comfortable. But the main disadvantage is the poor image quality, the blurriness. there is good screens other firms have a matrix where everything is seen better, but they have other disadvantages. I did not know the company before the Samsung had a super screen of 5 days, but the sound is terrible

Rated 4 out of 5 by JIrinaL from Convenient Phone I have been using the phone for more than six months. Everything seems to be good, there is a lot of memory, but the camera is terrible, especially the front camera, the camera narrows the face, and the effect of a flattened face is obtained, and the main photo is taken with some kind of pale film, it's bad ... music. But still, the phone is very good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sandro from Samsung screwed up in front of customers I have been buying Samsung products for a long time since the 95th year, but last year your company greatly disappointed me when I bought a replacement for the Grand Prime J2 with the same built-in memory as the first - 8GB. However, on the second, that is, on J2, the shell, unlike the Grand Prime, took up almost all of these 8GB. Having made the smartphone almost an ordinary phone, since now many applications are simply not installed on the card. Samsung should not have put this gadget on sale, as it simply deceived people. Or start up but with a warning and at a very large discount, since they made it without thinking! And I think you are specialists of this company understand very well what I mean ...

Rated 3 out of 5 by Maria 07 from 8 MP declared by the manufacturer Good day. We bought a Samsung prime j2 (2018) phone (purchased on 12/06/2018), the first thing we noticed was that the contact photo was uploaded to the address book and in fact it gives out a fuzzy picture in pixels. Then we try to set up the camera, what is not a photo, then a disgusting picture is grainy or not clear. A clear photo is extremely rare. Before that, there were many different Samsung and push-button ones and the prime core galaxy was used for three years. There was never such a thing. For the child J1, everything was also rebooted, the settings were reset. I was not lucky????
Samsung has once again decided to expand its line of youth smartphones Galaxy J, following the models J1, J5 and J7, a new device, which was released in September 2015, was named Samsung Galaxy J2 Duos J200H. As the name implies, the smartphone should occupy a niche in the middle between the frankly budget Galaxy J1 and the mid-priced J5. The cost of new items at the time of writing the review was about $ 170.
In terms of design, the Koreans have not shown anything new. For many years now, Galaxy smartphones have been released as a blueprint. The differences between them relate only to the thickness, size, degree of roundness of the corners and the materials used. Samsung Galaxy J2 was no exception, which received a classic case with a silver edging and an oval home button under the screen. On the back cover of the smartphone (it is plastic) there is a camera eye, which is framed on the sides by a flash diode and a speaker grill.
Specifications J2 does not allow the device to be classified as a middle class, and the cost does not allow holding the position of a strong state employee (which, we hope, will decrease slightly). With its pricing policy, Samsung is reminiscent of a tightrope walker, who only has vast experience and skill allows him to effectively hold himself over the abyss. As soon as Chinese competitors raise their heads a little more confidently in the world markets, the position of the leader of the South Korean company will be under great threat. After all, the same Xiaomi for the same money offers instead of four cores - eight, and instead of an HD display - FullHD.
CPU
The Samsung Galaxy J2 is powered by an inexpensive Exynos 3475 processor equipped with four 1.3-gigahertz cores. Responsible for the graphics accelerator Mali-T720. In terms of capabilities, the smartphone matches competitors based on the Snapdragon 400 series and MediaTek MT658x.
Most modern toys are too tough for the device, but you can't enjoy the quality of the graphics. Average settings in the same WoT are the limit of the smartphone's capabilities.
Memory
The RAM in the Samsung Galaxy J2 is 1 gigabyte, which is good news. Previously, Samsung in this regard was distinguished by "greed" and equipped the budget models of smartphones, at best, 768 MB of RAM.
The built-in drive has a capacity of 8 GB, of which about 5. The lack of free space is eliminated by using microSD cards. Fortunately, their maximum volume is 128 GB.
Battery
Considering the relatively small screen size, a 2000 mAh battery should be enough for the smartphone. In practice, this is how it turns out: Samsung Galaxy J2 is able to last up to 2 days in sparing use mode, and when playing a video it will be discharged in about 7 to 8 hours. Games will force the user to search for an outlet in about 3.5 hours. The performance is not that impressive, but similar to competing smartphones.
Camera
The main camera of the device has a matrix of only 5 MP, but it is equipped with a flash and autofocus. Comparing the quality of her pictures with Chinese smartphones from manufacturers of the "second tier", one can note that there is almost no difference.
And given that most of the inexpensive handsets from the PRC are equipped with 8 MP photo modules, the Samsung Galaxy J2 looks good with its 5 MP.
The front lens is equipped with a modest 2-megapixel sensor. For Skype, its capabilities are enough for the eyes, but a good selfie is difficult enough. This is especially true when shooting indoors, where the noise of the picture is immediately evident.
Display
"It is finished!" - I would like to say when meeting with the Samsung Galaxy J2 screen. Finally, Samsung has stopped equipping budget models of smartphones with WVGA display matrices. Undoubtedly, on diagonals up to 4.3 "the picture looks fine, but for 4.5" and more - 800x480 is not enough. The manufacturer took into account the mistakes and equipped the smartphone with a 4.7-inch SuperAMOLED screen with a resolution of 960x540 pixels.
The picture on the display looks nice, the colors are bright, but not acidic. Viewing angles approach the ideal value of 178 degrees, and you can see the screen when you tilt the device. The brightness is also decent, it's a pity, there is no automatic brightness control.
Communication
The smartphone, as befits a budget device, supports gSM networks and 3G. To the delight of residents of cities where there is LTE coverage, the device can work in these networks. Also on board the Samsung Galaxy J2 are standard Wi-Fi, fourth-generation Bluetooth and GPS satellite navigation.
Multimedia
Samsung Galaxy J2 is not destined to boast of something special in terms of multimedia. He, like most smartphones, can play FullHD video, play music on headphones throughout the day, catch local FM radio stations and write videos in HD. The sound volume is decent and sufficient not to miss a call. A little worse with purity: the bass and treble of the loudspeaker "dries". However, in headphones, the smartphone demonstrates a more pleasant sound and listening to music without experiencing discomfort is real.
operating system
The smartphone OS uses Android 5.1 with Samsung's proprietary graphical shell. Its capabilities are more modest than those of the same Galaxy S6 or Note 5, but remembering that the RAM in the Galaxy J2 is only 1 GB, it's even good.
Pros and cons of Samsung Galaxy J2 Duos J200
Samsung J2 advantages:
- 1 GB random access memory;
- modern processor;
- lTE support;
- 2 sim cards;
- aMOLED display.
Cons of a smartphone:
- low display resolution;
- the battery is far from ideal;
- the resolution of the cameras is low;
- mediocre sound on speaker.
Our review Samsung Galaxy J2 Duos J200
A review of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Duos J200 showed that in comparison with its predecessor in the face of the J1, progress has not bypassed the smartphone. Although the device is far from the flagship in terms of characteristics, it is enough for basic tasks. The screen does not shine with high resolution, but the conditional threshold of 220-230 PPI is passed and the pixels are not striking. You can consider them, but only if you do it on purpose.
Thrifty supporters of Samsung products will be able to appreciate the capabilities of the device. But those who want to get the maximum functionality by paying a minimum of money will be disappointed in the smartphone.
