One of the most popular places for families with children on the Black Sea in Russia is part of the coastal zone of Greater Sochi. Lazarevsky has excellent infrastructure and inexpensive recreation, compared to Adler and the urban areas of Sochi.

Accommodation in a guesthouse within a 10-minute walk from the sea - from 1200 rubles. Although there are good restaurants, cafes and canteens in Lazarevsky, many tourists choose accommodation with kitchens in order to cook on their own.

Pros and cons. According to reviews, holidays with a child on the Black Sea in Lazarevsky are good - mostly pebble beaches, and the sea is quite clean. For walking on pebbles, buy special slippers. A railway and a highway pass through Lazarevskoye, so it is easy to get to any sights of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. Spend a pleasant day in the water park, go to the ethnographic museum, oceanarium and amusement park.

Hotels with swimming pools are popular with families. A room there will cost less - from 1800 rubles.

Yalta

According to tourists, a vacation with a child on the Black Sea in the Crimea is in no way inferior to the Krasnodar Territory. Yalta is located in the Mediterranean climate zone. The air here is drier than in the resorts of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus, so babies and children with respiratory diseases feel comfortable.

Pros and cons. Evpatoria has everything for a good rest with children: the gentle Black Sea, comfortable beaches, entertainment. Go to the water park, see the sights of Crimea in miniature, visit the museum dedicated to pirates.

Despite a lot of advantages, rest in Evpatoria has a significant drawback - it takes a long time to get to the resort. Traveling by car or bus across the Kerch Strait is exhausting for young children. A faster, but more expensive option is a plane to Simferopol and an hour and a half by land transport.

By public transport and taxi from Feodosia, you can go on excursions to the sights of the South Coast. There are few minuses - because of the busy port, the sea near the city is not clean. Because of this, many parents with children go to swim on the beaches in the suburbs of Feodosia.

The sea is a real dream of the holiday season, and one can only envy those who live close to the warm southern waves. Russia goes to many seas, but most of them do not please with warmth even in summer. In addition, for many families living in the interior of the continent, a trip to the south can be the adventure of a lifetime, and you really want to show your children a real vacation. Let's try to figure out how to take all your loved ones to a real sea beach without any special expenses.

The best places in Russia

To begin with, let's clarify the situation with the available seas: in terms of logistics, it is always easier to go to the sea that is geographically closer to your place of residence (unless there is a direct flight of any transport), but you should choose your destination carefully. It has already been said about the northern seas - they are not suitable, because they never really warm up, which is why there is no infrastructure here. Of those that warm up normally, we single out four: Black, Azov, Caspian and Japanese.

There are no questions for the first two, but the situation with the remaining two is not very clear. If we talk about the Caspian, then it is not very popular among tourists, since this is a famous oil-producing region, so the water here is not very clean. In addition, the Black Sea coast is relatively close, because the Caspian Sea loses the competition and does not have a decent infrastructure - at least on the Russian part of the coast.

Sea resorts in the Caspian exist in neighboring countries that do not have access to other seas, for example, in Azerbaijan, but vacations there cannot be called budget.

As for the Sea of Japan, it suffers primarily from a significant distance from the main cities of the country. It would be possible to massively develop infrastructure here, but for most Russians getting here is problematic and expensive, and if you already have the appropriate money and desire, then it’s easier and more reasonable to fly somewhere to the tropics.

Within Russia, the Black Sea coast is ideal in terms of infrastructure - everyone knows such resorts as Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik or Tuapse. A huge plus of this region is excellent transport links with other parts of the country - in the summer, dozens of trains and planes arrive here daily from almost any major city in Russia.

Of course, holidays with children at sea in Sochi can be quite expensive, but the general rule works here - the norther the resort, the cheaper it is to relax here. For this reason, many tourists travel north - to Gelendzhik or Tuapse, or even further - to Novorossiysk or even to Yeysklocated already on the Sea of Azov.

A good way to relax inexpensively with children is Anapa - here the sea is distinguished by a gentle coastal bottom, so even those who swim uncertainly do not risk anything. Even in Soviet times, Anapa was distinguished by an abundance of summer camps for children, and today this network continues to develop.

In addition, it is worth remembering that the Black Sea coast does not consist of cities alone - there are also smaller settlements that do not have amazing entertainment infrastructure, but the sea is warm and gentle, the bottom is flat, and prices are not so biting. These include, in particular, Kabardinka, Divnomorskoye and other settlements.

If the budget is very limited, and the children have reached at least adolescence and love adventure, you should pay attention to campsites, which are quite a lot around Anapa and on the Azov coast.

The advantage of the settlement in the vicinity of Yalta is that the mountains are located very close - in Sochi there is the same advantage, but it will be more expensive there.

When determining the date of the trip, you should also be guided by the month for which the vacation is planned. So, in the very south, the swimming season is much longer - it can include May and September as a whole. On the other hand, going to such places in July is another test, because it will be unbearably stuffy here. That is why for travel in the middle of summer they choose mainly more northern resorts like the same Yeysk, but even in the first half of June it is not always warm enough here.

Foreign countries

The concept of a budget vacation is relative - you can also relax abroad at an economical rate, although this is often more expensive than inside the country. It should be noted here that in some foreign countries the infrastructure is at least as good as the domestic one, and the prices can please, however, the problem lies in expensive logistics - a flight can cost several times more than a week or even a month of stay here.

If you are still ready to spend money on a relatively inexpensive flight, you should start with a trip to the Mediterranean Sea - to Turkey. This country is famous for its hospitality and amazing infrastructure, designed, in particular, for tourists with children - many hotels here are focused specifically on families, therefore they hire animators and are ready to offer a whole amusement park on their own territory.

However, here you have to choose - either exquisite hotels closer to the center of the famous Antalya, but at a higher rate, or very affordable prices, but somewhere in the relative wilderness, where the amusement park will be only public, in the city center.

If the vacation is really long, and the children are quite old, not too whimsical, and will only be happy with adventures, it makes sense to spend a lot on a flight to visit countries that are still considered exotic among our compatriots. Thus, the beach holiday industry has been developing rapidly in recent years. in Southeast Asia, such as Vietnam and Cambodia. Many would simply be afraid to go there, however, the reviews of those who have been there are convincing: now it is by no means bad there.

It is indicated that housing prices near the sea here can easily be much lower than in the Russian provinces, and the unusual local culture, exotic food, elephant riding will leave an indelible impression.

Interestingly, even the famous ones are often referred to as budget destinations. Bali and Goa which we traditionally consider something chic. Life in Bali is relatively inexpensive, the only problem is that the flight will indeed cost several times more than the actual vacation. For this reason, it is worth going here for a long time, but then the costs will increase even more.

As for Goa, this resort can simply be divided into two parts: a very fashionable south with corresponding prices and impressive infrastructure, and the north, where there is no amazing service, but the service is still no worse than Russian, and prices and impressions are completely different. level. Another thing is that it is not advised to go to Goa in the summer, because it becomes unbearably stuffy here, the rainy season begins, and the sea is often restless, however, all these criteria greatly affect the cost of any services, and we are talking about savings.

True, it is advised to go to Goa for at least two weeks - it can be difficult for our citizens to adapt here because of the extremely unusual climate and very spicy food, so the first few days simply fall out.

Vacationing on a budget in the summer is better for someone who knows how to choose the right place and time. Let's try to formulate the basic rules of how to go to the sea with your family without space expenses.

To start, remember that Timely vacation planning and buying tickets and vouchers helps to save a lot. The same air tickets for tomorrow are much more expensive than for four months in advance, so you should think about summer vacation even in winter. With enough time, you can also fruitfully study all the available offers, comparing them not only in price, but also in quality - it often happens that a person passes by a profitable offer simply because the decision needs to be made in a hurry.

Another point is that for the sake of economy, it is worth abandoning the easy ways. Famous resorts attract tourists, but due to increased demand they can afford to raise prices much higher than the cost. The fact of the mass accumulation of infrastructure here does not mean that such a sea and such beaches no longer exist - they probably exist in lesser-known villages that big business has not reached.

It is possible that it will take more time and money to get here, however, saving on housing and food will completely cover these costs, so do not be lazy to look for information about alternative, little-known resorts.

Remember also that most experienced budget travelers rarely buy all-inclusive packages. This rule is still relevant if you are going to Turkey, where it really allows you to save money, or to a recreation center where children relax without their parents and do not organize their leisure time in any way. In other cases, the cost of a tour often includes some services that you simply will not need, so read carefully what you pay for and think about what you need from this.

You can visit exotic countries, gain impressions and relax mentally for little money. Skyscanner has calculated how much a two-week vacation costs in different parts of the world, and made a selection of the cheapest vacation destinations in 2019.

As a rule, in such places there are few cafes and shops nearby. But, if you choose the right hotel, then everything will be right on the spot: beach accessories, delicious food, wine ... Calm beaches and the clearest sea are easy to find in and in some.

In the photo: rest on the Sea of Azov, Kuchugury, sandy beach.

If you want a more relaxing holiday at sea, then you should go from Sochi (Adler) airport in the other direction - to Abkhazia.

7. Rest on the sea in Abkhazia - cheap and comfortable!

For those who have read up to this point - we tell about the best place to go in Russia to the sea. Abkhazia is not in the first place on our list only because it is not exactly Russia, it is nearby :) In all other respects, this is the best place where you can go to the sea with a Russian passport. A foreign passport is not needed, rubles are in use, the locals speak Russian.

In the photo: seaside vacation in Abkhazia

In Abkhazia, prices are lower, and seaside holidays are more comfortable. There are much more chances to find good beaches and clear sea. In addition, there are fewer tourists on the sea in Abkhazia - the main thing is to drive away from Sukhumi to resort places, and then you can find a very inexpensive vacation on the seashore. Right on the beach!

How to get to Abkhazia

From Moscow or St. Petersburg directly to Sukhumi can be inexpensively reached by train. On the road 38 and 45 hours.
Either from another city in Russia by train or plane to Sochi (Adler) airport, and from there trains and buses go to Sukhumi, the journey takes 2-3 hours.

If you are driving on your own or through a checkpoint at the border across the Psou River, just get out and show your passport and documents for the car. Leave - through the same checkpoint. There are no difficulties at the border, a pure formality.

Where to stay

There are not many modern accommodation options in Abkhazia, mainly the “soviet” private sector, which is easy to book upon arrival. However, there are quite good guest houses and even excellent inexpensive hotels, but it is better to book them in advance in order to get a civilized one for the price of a “wild” vacation. It is possible! Here are some options.

For starters, you can stay near the city of Sukhumi and close to the sea - in the guest house "Rufina" - cheap, but quite comfortable.

We go further, where there are fewer tourists, and we find the Alamys guest house, ideal in terms of price and quality (see photos, reviews and prices), is conveniently located in the resort of Gudauta, near the Black Sea. There are comfortable sun loungers on the beach and there are no other tourists nearby. Clean sea, delicious food. You can admire the sea around the clock from the balcony of the room - you won’t be able to find anything like it on the first line by the sea in Sochi or Lazarevsky.

Sea holidays in Abkhazia - guest house "Alamys"

In addition to the sea, Abkhazia has beautiful nature, delicious wine and food. And the prices! Probably, such low prices for sea holidays in Russia are nowhere to be found. Even a hotel with three meals a day costs 2 times cheaper than in Russia.

Napra in Abkhazia - an inexpensive recreation center with three meals a day

If on vacation you don’t want to think about where to eat, just go to the recreation center “Napra” and relax:

In the photo: Napra - a hotel with three meals a day - a pleasant vacation by the sea in Abkhazia

A nice bonus in this hotel is the view of the Black Sea on one side and the mountains on the other. See photos and prices

We also recommend a trip to the magical Lake Ritsa in Abkhazia and see waterfalls and magnificent places along the way. If you don’t have your own car, then contact someone who will help organize everything and take you to the most beautiful places in Abkhazia, and you can arrange a trip directly from Sochi.
