Appearance and filling

With a cursory review, it becomes clear that the designers of this device did not bother much, but took the standard design for inexpensive tablets. Therefore, the Hit 3G gadget turned out to be quite typical on the outside, but rather interesting on the inside.

On the front panel, at the top, there is an earpiece and a standard front camera. The screen is framed by quite a wide frame, which allows you to nullify any phantom clicks. The front panel is protected by ordinary glass, therefore, gluing a protective film will soon be required.

On the reverse side, the Explay Hit tablet received a corrugated cover in the center and two matte inserts on the sides - this allows you to more securely hold the gadget in the user's hands during operation. The standard camera, alas, is not of the best quality and a slightly noticeable speaker grill is on the bottom right side.

Operating system overview

The Hit device is preinstalled with the Android operating system version 4.2, which allows you to work with all popular applications at the moment. But, here's a small snag - a proprietary shell from Yandex is installed on top of the system.

Immediately after turning on the device, you can see the abundance affiliate programs, which, fortunately, can be quickly removed, but we will refrain from this for now. The problem is that Google's apps were not installed on the gadget at all:

Setting up an internet connection

Wireless network

The settings menu familiar to everyone starts, where by clicking open the Wi-Fi item, translate the slider, as shown above, and wait for the formation of a list of available points within the range of your modem. As a result, we get what is shown in the image below.

Choice and connection

Among the found points, we look for the necessary one and select it by single pressing. A small window appears, where you should specify the access password and connect. A good set of additional settings is provided for specific connections. After entering the password, we are waiting for the Explay Hit device to be assigned its own ip-address and a corresponding entry appears near the point - connected.

If you cannot connect, then either the password was entered incorrectly, or the point stopped working - it was simply disconnected, so we are trying to restore the connection.

Undoubtedly, one of the main advantages of this device is the presence of full-fledged slots for SIM-cards, which not only allow making calls, but also freely access the Internet after correct configuration. Therefore, we return to the settings menu again.

Mobile network

We go through the selected items, which are shown in the image above. Next, select "Access Points" and create a new connection, as shown below. Please note that the connection for Megafon is already configured on this Explay Hit device - we ignore it and continue the configuration.

New point

Now the only thing left is to go to the official website of your operator and get the data in accordance with the selected tariff plan... It may differ for each user, so there is no point in giving at least approximate information.

Completion of work

After entering all the necessary information, click on the highlighted button and save the newly created point. In the "Access points" menu, select your connection - check the box and restart the Explay Hit tablet. After switching on, through the quick control menu, we connect to the mobile Internet.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not support his tablet - he released several global updates that fixed some errors and made it possible for the owners to carry out various manipulations on the gadget, and for this he is very grateful.

Tablet firmware

Turn off the tablet after charging it at least 50% in advance, and put the USB cable next to it to connect to the computer. Install drivers offline, that is, without a connected device. The main thing is that no errors appear after completion - be sure to check this.

Main window

Unpack the flasher and run the executable file on behalf of the administrator if Windows 7 is installed on your computer. Click on the highlighted button, a standard Windows Explorer opens, through which we go to the folder with the firmware.

Required file

Find text file with the appropriate name and select it - it is he who contains all the necessary information for the correct firmware of the Explay Hit device. It is important that during the firmware procedure, in no case touch the tablet or disconnect it from the computer, since in this case the brick is provided to you.

Installing root rights

Chinese tablets also differ in that you can easily install root-rights on them, with which the user becomes the full owner of his device. For this gadget, the Framaroot program is suitable, which runs directly from the Android OS.

Main menu

In the first field, select the specified SuperSU parameter, there is also a second method, but it is unstable and is not recommended by most users. If something does not work out, then try downloading an earlier version of the utility - no one has canceled the compatibility yet.

There is nothing complicated in this - the instruction is very similar to the previously considered firmware method. Only in this case a separate module of the system will be flashed, since the application supports this. Alternative option

Click on the familiar button again, only this time we go to the folder of the downloaded archive and from there we select the only text file. Installing Google Apps

As many owners and users have already noticed: there is not a single application from Google on the presented device. What is the reason for this? Yandex is trying by all available means to promote its programs and its application store, which is referred to as the Yandex Store.

It should be noted that the number of programs there is enough, but still there are not enough familiar and familiar Android devices.
