But the Chinese site 7659.com makes software distribution completely free. In exchange for freebies, the user must agree to provide the service with a device identifier and some other gadget parameters. Formally, the service is available only in China, but no one canceled proxy servers and VPN.
The most interesting part of this story is to see how Apple will react to it. There are levers of influence, there are many of them. You can revoke the certificates on the basis of which the signing of applications by this service works, you can sue the administration of the resource, you can block the accounts of those who use this service. But so far, no action is being taken in Cupertino. And will there be? This is a sensitive question ...
