If the number by which the cells will be multiplied is in a table cell, then the reference to this cell in the formula will need to be made absolute so that it does not change when the formula is applied to other cells.

Excel also has the ability to multiply a range of values by a number using special paste with replacing the original values. To do this, we need to copy our coefficient number to the clipboard, select a range of cells for multiplication, and on the tab "Home" on the menu "Insert" select "Paste special ..."...
