In everyday tasks, performance is quite sufficient, even with a margin. But in some especially "heavy" games, the graphics accelerator does not behave in the best way. Throttling also occurs during long-term peak loads.

Communication and sound

Thanks to the advanced HiFi-chip AK4376A, which is located in the Huawei Honor 10, you can enjoy excellent sound in high-quality headphones. At the same time, the external speaker is moderately loud, but without the stereo effect. The interlocutor is heard quite well through the earpiece. Traditionally, Huawei for the new flagship Honor has tried to make sure that with a low cost of the device, buyers have to make as little compromises as possible in terms of technical equipment, design and user experience. As a result, this model partly competes with Huawei P20 (not Pro), but costs less. Honor has a different, slightly simpler body and does not have Leica technologies in the main camera, but there is an infrared port and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. In terms of design, the Honor 10 continues to build on the concept of previous generations of devices with colored glass bodies and an impressively shimmering back panel thanks to a multi-layer coating. The smartphone is available in four colors: classic black, silver, and gradient blue and green. The last two look especially impressive.

Of the interesting things it is worth noting the fingerprint scanner under the screen. Ultrasonic technology has made it possible to abandon the usual notch for the sensor and make it invisible both externally and to the touch. The scanner is located under the glass of the front panel, and the touch point is just marked with a dotted line. Perhaps, when users get used to it, the manufacturer will not even have to indicate the place of touch and the sensor will become completely invisible.

Otherwise, Honor 10 looks traditional for devices of 2018: a large screen almost in the entire front panel, a protrusion at the top of the display for the front camera, speakers and sensors, power and volume buttons on the right side, horizontally located dual camera on the back, USB ports Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.
