Task diary and scheduling apps are a pretty small category across all mobile platforms. Rarely are new, truly worthwhile solutions emerging among these programs. It is difficult to do something new and convenient in the task manager, except for an interesting interface, when everything has already been invented and done before you. However, the BossNote application has partially succeeded. Read the BossNote Android App Review under the cut.

Planning and organizing all your affairs is one of the ingredients for success in all areas of activity. Many applications allow you to organize your business not only on a mobile device, but also on a computer on the web. The program combines ease of use, interesting and balanced functionality, and an acceptable interface.

It's worth starting with the fact that the program can be used both with the Internet and offline. You can register your account to synchronize and save all data in the "cloud" and use BossNote without a network, you only need an active Internet connection for registration, which is convenient enough for most people. If you immediately have any questions about the functionality and use of the program, then you can contact BossNote technical support, a chat with whose representatives is implemented right in the application.

The main functionality of the program is to create cases, notes and reminders with dates, times, photographs and even georeferenced. All cases and events are displayed in Notepad mode and can be flipped like a tape. The application implements the "Diary Mode", when the scheduled tasks of one day are displayed in a convenient form. There is also a calendar view, which is very convenient if you have a lot of things to do, but we will talk about the calendar a little later.

Creating a new case and a reminder is extremely simple: you need to set the time at which the first and second notifications will sound using a simple dial, and then write the text of the case, and also attach a photo or link to a location if you wish. It is worth clarifying that an unlimited number of attachments can be added to a record. This last feature is especially useful when you want to remember where you need to go.

It is also worth noting that BossNote implements a rather original and interesting engine that recognizes time, date and some other data for cases. For example, you create a simple notification, miss the moment with the dial and immediately write "Remind me: tomorrow at 9:30 to work", and the program itself recognizes that tomorrow you need to set a notification that will be triggered at 9:30 for half an hour. The duration can also be set in plain text. You can also set the time interval in which the reminder will be displayed. The function is very interesting and original.

Calendar is another great feature of BossNote. Once you've created a ton of to-do's and spread them all over the month, you won't be comfortable viewing them in a simple feed. For this, a calendar was created in which each day of the month is presented as a temporary tape on which your affairs are scattered. It looks pretty good and is convenient for a large number of reminders. Events can be created directly from the calendar by clicking for a certain period of time.

BossNote looks good on a horizontal display and on tablets. When the full functionality of the mobile application is described, we can also mention the web version of BossNote, which has a beautiful interface that you really want to work with. It has the same functionality as in the mobile application, and all data is synchronized with your account. The designers did a really good job on the web version of the service, making something like a notebook with a calendar.

Overall, the web-based BossNote app can be your primary task managers. And if you have not yet begun to plan your affairs and distribute them for months in advance, then it's time to start, because this is the key to success in many areas. You can download the BossNote app for Android on Google Play, and is located on the official website of the service.

The BossNote app is a text notebook and day planner in one package, designed to be used on both iPhone and iPad and home computer. After installing the application on iDevices and registering, you can open the web version of the application and continue your recordings. All your actions are synchronized through the cloud service. BossNote is useful for all people who have a lot of important things planned every day that cannot be forgotten.

The application has two work areas: "calendar" and "notepad". In the first, the user sees all events and records. The note in the notebook is also displayed in the calendar to show you at what time you made the next entry. And vice versa - by tapping on any date and time and writing down information, for example, about a meeting, this record can be seen in a notebook. In principle, the "calendar" in the application is only needed so that the user can see all his affairs with a time reference, and you can create notes, and then make events from them with a date and a reminder of the beginning, in a "notepad".

You can create a reminder of an event or just a note linked to a specific date using the tiny menu at the bottom of the screen. There are only three items: "create an event", "notepad" and "files attached to the note." By clicking on the first item, you can specify the date, time, and, if you wish, make a reminder about a note at a certain time. By choosing "notepad", you will be taken back to the note, but in the menu item "files attached to the note" there will be photos. Unfortunately, the word "files" means only photos that you can take directly from the application or select ready-made ones. Other file types are not supported. Their number is displayed in the upper corner of the screen when you are in a notebook, and you can tap on this icon at any time to view everything you need. You can also switch between menu items with swipes, it is much faster and more convenient.

As soon as we have created a note, click on the cross at the top of the screen, and the new note is sent to the notebook. Swipe to the "calendar" (you can also use the corresponding shortcuts on the side of the screen to move) and view current affairs, which are under the red line indicating the time at the moment. Everything on top of this line has already been done, but below - what is to come.

The application interface is quite nice and understandable. You don't need to figure out what's what - we just write down and save events and deeds in our life. And by choosing the reminder function, you don't have to worry about forgetting something - at the right moment the application will remind you of an important matter. In general, BossNote is just an analogue of the standard Calendar application, but in my opinion, faster, more convenient, and easier to use.

There are enough solutions for taking notes on iOS (someone uses the universal Evernote combine, someone is content with an extremely simple SimpleNote or the same regular "Notes"), there are also a lot of different calendars. Application developers BossNote, which came to us for review today, combined a notebook, calendar and diary in the form of a kind of electronic organizer, adding cloud functions to all this. Let's see what they did.

BossNote is based on a single daily planner, calendar and notebook environment. Records can be assigned a date and duration - then they will appear in the appropriate place in the calendar (a nice feature here is the "smart recognition" of the time, where "tomorrow at noon" will automatically turn into the desired date and time). You can also create simple notes that will be attached to the date of their creation. For those who prefer to store visual information, you can add as many photos as you like to each entry.

All this can be done both on the diary screen and on the notebook screen (in the case of the iPhone, in the iPad version, the notebook is simply superimposed on the calendar), and, if you look at it, the three main screens of the application serve the same purpose - effective time management. The calendar seems to be a kind of default, the diary allows you to look at a certain date and find free time between events, and you can simply write down the necessary fact in a notebook without thinking about dates and times - if anything, they can be specified later and they will automatically appear in the calendar ...

It is impossible not to pay attention to the design of the application. While Apple is releasing iOS 7, which is smoothed and devoid of textures to the maximum, the developers of BossNote adhere to the old school - imitation of leather, paper, scraps of calendar sticking out everywhere and, frankly, we see nothing wrong with that. It is one thing when unnecessary reels of "Podcasts" occupy half the screen for no reason, and quite another is the design of a program that is originally functional and knows its goals in its own style.

The main element of BossNote is the connection with the "cloud" - it allows you to synchronize all notes between different devices, which include iPad, iPhone and PC, for which a browser version of the application is available (the developers promise to release applications for Android and Windows soon). In addition, all photos attached to notes are also saved in the cloud, and in the application itself, small copies of them are used to save space - those who like to click the shutter of the virtual camera a lot should appreciate.

BossNote - The Evolution of Paper and Pen!

BossNote does not offer users advanced formatting or drawing options, but many do not need it - simple text notes with photos will satisfy the needs of 95% of people, and synchronization certainly allows you to turn BossNote into a universal solution for home, office and moving between them. Considering the free app, it's definitely worth a try, and chances are you'll enjoy what you see.

P.S. By the way, if you have any questions while using the application, the developers will be happy to answer them in groups at

Today, working with cloud computing is a kind of sign of "good form". "Cloud" - a guarantee of quick access to stored information from anywhere. “From everywhere” is especially important today, since people interact with two or three gadgets every day. There are many scenarios for practical use - from storing photographs to a personal "secretary". We will tell you about the latter - the symbiosis of a diary, a calendar and a notebook called BossNote.

Appointment

"Cloud" organizer. You add content - notes, a photo, a calendar event - it goes to the server and is available both with an Internet connection and without it from the iPhone, iPad and PC.

How does it work?

The process of working with BossNote is intuitive, even if you have never encountered such programs before. You just need to decide on the task (note, photo, entry in the calendar) and refer to the proposed functionality. One click on the "big plus" in the upper right corner of the screen, and all the notes that are important for you will appear on the lined "paper": texts about important events, something "interesting" that you just filmed with your camera, "reminder" that tomorrow at work you need to do this and that ... And so on, and so on.

BossNote does not offer any "delights". As the Americans say, “it just works” - the most stable, reliable and very useful for the owner. The developer of the application Ruslan Shigaburdinov calls the combination of the capabilities of “paper notebook, notepad, electronic organizer, calendar and online service” as the main advantage of BossNote, as well as the simplicity of the service used. And that's exactly what his program does, and does really well!

The application is free - and this is another plus to the already large number of advantages of our "hero of the day".

Technical matters

The download size is 19 MB, so you may have to go to your computer once more. To start, you need iOS version 5.0: thus, BossNote will run on any Apple gadget, starting with the iPhone 3GS, the third generation iPod touch, and the very first iPad.

BossNote is an excellent multifunctional notepad from a Russian developer, available on a variety of platforms and supports automatic note syncing. In addition to the functions of a virtual notebook, this program also serves as an online storage and calendar. In the latter, you can even add important events and set up pop-up notifications about them. Thus, you will never forget about the upcoming business and meetings and, as a result, you will not get into awkward situations. To store data and synchronize information between different devices, BossNote has its own cloud storage. When you create an account, you will be given 2 GB of free server space for free.

The most original aspect of the program is its graphical shell. The application interface is stylized like a real leather-bound notebook, and all interface elements are drawn in a very high quality and authentic. Thanks to him, working with the program is extremely simple and convenient. And the last interesting feature of the program, which cannot be ignored, is a special section, which displays a diagram that clearly demonstrates to the user his workload during the day.
