Widgets for Windows 10

20.09.2021

People often ask me about widgets in my videos, and I often send them ... to my old video. Unfortunately, some information there is not relevant, and I decided to update it, especially since there is something to see. One of the subscribers translated the widget completely into Russian, for which many thanks to him, as well as to the Maddy Murk group, I will leave the links in the description. Many, I'm serious, many complained that there was no Russian in the widgets, but now it has appeared. I made a small guide for installing this widget. I have collected three installation files on the site, although one will be enough, but then there will be no Russian language. And so, first download the first Rainmeter file with the Win10 Widgets skin, then update the Raintmeter program to version 4.1, and then install the crack. Everything is pretty simple. Unfortunately, the author of the skin slightly forgot about the skin, but, nevertheless, it still works.

So, after installation, I hope you know how to do it, we are greeted by a welcome window and almost all widgets.

The first widget that I would like to mention is the weather widget. This widget, oddly enough, requires an internet connection. Perhaps it will recognize your city incorrectly, or not at all, in which case enter it manually. To do this, right-click on the widget and select "Custom actions", then select "Enter location manually" and write the name of your city in Latin letters. Unfortunately, this is the only thing that is not translated in the widget, since the cities are taken from Yahoo, as, in principle, other data. Also here you can choose what temperature will be measured in: Fahrenheit or Celsius and choose the time format: 12 hours or our usual 24 hours.

The second widget is the clock. Everything is quite simple here, the widget displays the time and current date of the system. Optionally, you can also right-click to change the time format to 12-hour or 24-hour.

The next widget is the combined performance. Here, one widget contains statistics on the use of computer resources. This combo widget displays CPU, RAM, C drive, and Internet usage.

Optionally, you can change the location of the widget. To do this, also right-click on the widget, select "Options", and then select the desired location option for the widget. You can, for example, make it in one line, or in one column. By the way, through the "Options" menu, you can also resize other widgets, for example, "Weather". You can make both a medium size and choose the smallest.

By the way, it is worth noting that the CPU, RAM, disk and network load widgets can be made separately. To do this, you need to right-click on any widget and select "Win10 Widgets" and immediately select "Memory full", that is, RAM, "Disk load", while you can select up to 5 drives, "CPU load" and " Network speed", and you can also choose their size by right-clicking and choosing "Options".

The next widget is HDD Fullness. Your disks and the amount of free space on the drive are displayed here. You can add another drive with the right mouse button, select "Win10 Widgets" -\u003e "Hard Drive Full" and select your drive.

Also on the existing widget, you can manually select an available drive by letter or do it automatically via RMB.

If you don’t like some skin, then you can also select “Close Skin” in the context menu via RMB and it will no longer be displayed for you. Naturally, not all skins can be immediately available on the desktop, but they can be activated if you select via RMB -> "Win10 Widgets".

Absolutely all the widgets that are in the program are displayed here. There's also a Spotify widget that makes it easy to switch music. There are widgets for volume control, Wi-Fi connection display and battery charge. Naturally, you should not turn on everything, here you choose everything at will, what is convenient for you. If you wanted gadgets for the Ten, like in the Seven, but more modern, then this program is perfect for you.

Also, if you right-click on the skin and select "Settings", you can further customize your skin here. In the "Position" item, you can choose the location of the skin, on which monitor it will be displayed, and whether it will be displayed on top of all windows or not.

In the “Transparency” item, you can select the transparency of the widget as a percentage, namely from 0 to 100 percent. Even in the settings, you can choose to make the widget non-clickable, that is, it will not be possible to change its location in any way, you can also hide it on hover, remove or add the ability to drag and drop, and so on. The possibilities of widgets are quite extensive.

If you want to see more such programs, then by all means tell about it. In the comments you can also throw off your skins for Rainmeter and in general, how do you like these widgets? Or do you still use gadgets from the Seven? Write about it in the comments.
