Getting started with Picture Manager Microsoft Office
The program's working window will load. In the left panel, you need to select the folders and pictures you want to work with.
For display, I chose a folder with raw photographs of a future master class on soap making.
For convenience, I closed the left panel so that there is more area for working with drawings. The top panel contains a standard set of buttons: “save”, “open”, “print”. In addition to them, there are buttons for image rotation. We are interested in the “Change Image” button.

Adjust brightness and contrast with one click
The easiest way to improve a photo in one click is to use the “Auto Adjust” button. The program will independently make the picture clearer and brighter.
I am quite satisfied with the result. I move to the next picture using the arrow at the bottom of the window. I use automatic editing again and do this with all the photos in the selected folder. You can see how quickly a dozen photos are processed at once.
Cropping photos
All photos are bright. Now we will trim off the extra fields and remove unnecessary details. In the right panel, find the button labeled “Crop” and click on it.
In the picture, markers appear along the edges of the image, with the help of which we change the borders of the image by pressing the left mouse button. Click on the marker and drag in the desired direction. If you want the proportions of the picture to be maintained, then hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard.
You can change sizes using each marker separately. The process is simple, does not require special skills, the main thing is not to forget to click on the OK button.
How to reduce photo size
We changed the brightness and contrast, then trimmed off the excess. Now we need to make the photos smaller, since it is advisable to display them on websites in certain sizes. To do this, we will use the “Resize” operation.
In the new panel you will see the current sizes of your photos. New sizes will also appear there, which we must reach.
I select the standard width and height from the dropdown menu. It is 640 by 480 pixels in size. You can choose any other from the list.
Confirm your choice with the OK button and your photo is already in the desired size.
I usually save the finished image with a different name. For example, “MK soap making 001”, or something similar, so that later it can be easily inserted into the text in order.
If you are not satisfied with the standard sizes, you can specify the ones you need yourself. To do this, enter the width and/or height in the required boxes and press the OK button. The program will reduce the size, proportionally reducing both sides, there will be no distortions.
If you make a mistake in something, there is a button to cancel operations in the top panel.
It is also easy to change the size as a percentage, for example, exactly twice, indicating 50% of the available sizes.
Reducing the “weight” of images
Another useful function is compressing photos, changing the volume or weight of the image. But at the same time the size automatically changes, be careful when using this operation. I applied compression to web pages.
After working with the picture, save it with a new name or leave it with the same one. To do this, go to the File menu, all commands in it are standard.
When you try to close the program, it will definitely ask you whether to save the changes you have made to the source files. Be careful. If you have already saved each file separately with a different name, you can refuse to save. You can view the processed photos in the folder where you saved them.
