Windows 10 includes many tools to customize the sound to suit the user's needs. The days when only volume was available are long gone - today you can choose the same settings for speakers and headphones, or set separate settings for each music playback program so that the quality of the reproduced material is as high as possible.
The fastest way to get to sound settings, - use the speaker icon in the system tray. After clicking it with the left mouse button, a gain adjustment slider appears.
If there are several playback devices installed in the system, an arrow is visible at the top that expands their list - just select the one you need. Click the speaker icon in the window that appears to turn off the sound.
